Aristocrat Technologies has transitioned its southern Nevada operations to 100% renewable energy as of July 2026. The company achieved this status by enrolling in NV Energy's GreenEnergy Rider program.
Sustainability Strategy
The initiative aligns with the manufacturer's broader sustainability strategy and Nevada's renewable energy objectives. Harry Ashton, group general manager of sustainability for Aristocrat, noted that the partnership accelerates progress toward carbon reduction goals. The company aims to support renewable infrastructure growth while operating responsibly within local communities.
Aristocrat is currently the only slot manufacturer participating in this specific program in the state. It stands as the sole southern Nevada-based participant among the four companies enrolled in 2026. Early enrollment allowed the firm to secure renewable energy supplies before rising demand from artificial intelligence and data centers impacted availability.
Jared Bilberry, program development director at NV Energy, stated that the program strengthens the utility's Renewable Portfolio goals. The arrangement enables corporate clients to reach full renewable energy status while the utility continues investment in the region's clean energy infrastructure.
