Cubeia Plans AI-Generated Code for All New Features by August

Stockholm-based iGaming platform provider Cubeia has announced plans to transition all new feature development to AI-generated code by August. The initiative follows internal data showing mid-level developers significantly increasing output through artificial intelligence tools.

Output Analysis and Business Objectives

Chief Operating Officer Stefan Grenstad identified the performance shift while reviewing project management logs in Jira. Mid-level engineers were delivering approximately 60% of the company’s development results, surpassing senior staff output. The transition requires alignment with development teams initially hesitant about AI integration. Grenstad stated that tripling overall production capacity through AI integration is necessary to maintain competitive positioning in the market. The company confirmed the transition will not involve workforce reductions.

Technical Implementation and Workflow Changes

The AI coding initiative covers both back-end and front-end development pipelines while maintaining compatibility with existing legacy systems. Chief Product Officer Fredrik Ernander reported that Claude serves as the primary large language model, with additional testing of UX Pilot AI and v0.dev. Ernander noted that AI tools have shortened the prototyping cycle, allowing product leadership to draft interface concepts directly rather than delegating initial mockups to front-end developers.

Management aims to restructure the existing agile framework, which has relied on two-week sprints for twenty years. The company intends to align development cycles with faster AI-assisted iteration speeds. The operational details were reported by iGB.
