Entain has broadened its commercial agreement with studio Octoplay, introducing the developer’s catalog to additional regulated territories across Europe and North America. The expansion was announced on 7 July 2026 and now covers six established markets with further launches scheduled for the same year.
Geographic Expansion and Platform Integration
The content library is now live in Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Georgia and Ontario. BetMGM, the joint venture between Entain and MGM Resorts International, serves as the launch operator for Octoplay titles in Michigan and New Jersey. Additional deployments are planned for Brazil, Greece, Italy and Spain. Octoplay will also enter the Alberta market once the province finalizes its regulated online gambling framework.Beyond geographic growth, the two companies have integrated Octoplay’s mechanics into Entain’s platform architecture. Jackpot Blitz, a tailored iteration of Octoplay’s progressive prize system, is now active across Entain’s operator brands. The studio delivered four customized game projects during 2025, including a dedicated title for Coral and an Elvis Presley branded slot released exclusively on BetMGM in the United States.
Several additional bespoke projects remain in production.
Ralitsa Georgieva, CEO at Octoplay, noted that the collaboration moved beyond standard supplier terms, highlighting joint market entry and co-developed mechanics. Obdulio Bacarese, Global Gaming Director at Entain, stated that the studio’s development pace and exclusive releases confirmed its strategic value for the group.
The partnership initially launched in the United Kingdom before expanding to the current territories.
